If you need to make a claim on your insurance due to your bike being stolen or damaged, or you being involved in an accident, you’ll need to contribute towards the cost of the repairs or replacement. This is known as an excess.
By adding Return Your Excess Insurance to your main bike policy, you can protect your finances from these costs. While you’ll still pay your excess, once the claim is settled you’ll be able to claim this back, up to £500 per policy period.
We offer automatic reimbursement for fault and partial fault claims, which means we’ll process your excess refund when the claim on your policy is settled – there’s no need to make a separate claim.
Wearing the right safety gear is important whenever you ride a motorcycle – but, as we all know, this is not cheap to buy. Our Helmet and Leathers insurance provides peace of mind, ensuring that in the event of an accident your motorcycle clothing is protected. This insurance will cover the repair or replacement of your helmets, leathers, boots, and gloves following an accident in the UK up to a maximum of £1,500 or £2,500 per year, depending on which of the two levels of cover you select.
If your motorcycle clothing is damaged beyond repair, the policy will cover new replacements in the same style and form, however it won’t cover loss to undamaged items forming part of a set. In the event of a claim, you will need to provide proof of purchase. Subject to terms and conditions. For further information please find your relevant policy wording.
